Presentation: We will practice comparing two objects or qualities.

Practice: (Emulation) Please repeat after me.

Dogs are intelligent. Chimpanzees are more intelligent than dogs.
Chimpanzees are less intelligent than humans.
A rose is more beautiful than a cactus. Playing is less important than studying.
First class seats are more comfortable than economy seats.
A car is more comfortable than the bus.
She is more generous than he is.
Gold is very precious. Love is much more precious than gold.
Love is a lot more precious than gold. Love is far more precious than gold.
Glass is very hard. A diamond is much harder than glass.
You have a lot of homework. I have much more than you do. I have a lot more homework than you do. I have far more homework than you do.

Production:

Students will compare two objects either from a work prompt or from a photo.
Students will use the three variants: much, a lot and far to compare two things.
