Production:

Show pictures and have the students tell me if the food tastes salty, or sweet, using a complete sentence.

Show pictures of steak, salad, chicken and ask each student if they would like some more. They can choose to say, yes or no and elaborate. Prior to this exercise review the things they might say:
That looks delicious. This tastes delicious. This smells delicious. This is too sweet. This is too salty. I am full.
