G5 14 40

G5 14 40

Presentation: You will practice talking on the phone. You always answer the phone by saying "hello". It is nice to say who you are. "Hello. This is Eun speaking." If you are calling, start by saying who you are: "Hello, this is Annie. Is Sam there?" or "Hello. This is Annie. May I speak to Sam, please?" If Sam is not there, the person can say? "Sorry. He is not home." or " Sorry; he does not live here." You can make sure you called the right number: "Is this 303-1122?"

Practice: (Emulation)

Is Sunny there? Hold on please.
Hi, may I speak to Eun? Sorry. Eun does not live here.
Is this 345-4455? No, this is 345: 4466.
