Practice
Emulation: Have students repeat at least twice. Also have them type words.

Review pronunciation of face parts:

Head eye ear mouth face

Waist, knee, leg

Foot feet ankle, ankles toe, toes stomach shoulder throat
Shoulder hand, hands finger, fingers

Stomach ache
Headache [ache = hurt]
Broken arm

Show body and indicate parts to name.

Production

Have each child name a body part when you point to it and say the number.

Ask, “What is the matter?”

Student will reply, “My head aches.”

My arm aches. My shoulder aches. Etc. OR

My head hurts. My arm hurts. My shoulder hurts.
